1. The college was selected for National Environmental Awareness Award by Khadi And Village Industries Development Agency of India and the Award was presented to the College on August 22, 2008 at Gandhi Peace Foundation Hall, New Delhi. Principal, Rev. Dr. Mathew Maleparampil received the Award from Sri. B. Rengunath Jha, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of India.

2. Ms. Feba Ann Jacob scored first rank in BCA April 2008 Examination and she was felicitated by the staff and students of the entire college on September 1, 2008.

3. Ten students of BCA final year became the Redhat Certified Linux Professionals(RHCE) in 2007-2008 and seven students of BCA Second year students in 2008-2009.

4. 100% placement for our 2008 passout MSW batch.

5. HOPES(Holy Cross Providential Enlightenment Service), an NGO started in the College. It was inaugurated on November 6, 2008 by Sri. T.K. Jose IAS, Principal Secretary, Local Administration Dept., Govt. of Kerala.
The Projects undertaken by HOPES presently are:
(i) Community Mental Health Programme for Women and Mothers
(ii) Child Educational Sponsorship Programme - 74 students were selected in four units at Kudakkachira,  Manathoor, Kunnonni and Cherpunkal. The children are selected at an early age of 8 - 10. They were given remedial coaching as well as personality development training programmes. The programme is run with sponsorship from the local people.
(iii) Sundaragramam Programme
(iv) Village Adoption and Rehabilitation Programme- First centre started at Vagamon

6. Our MSW students won the overall Trophy in All India Arts Competitions conducted by the Department of Social Work, Layola College, Chennai on March 16 and 17, 2009. The team consisting of Sri. Roshy P. Antony and Jaison Joseph won the Promising Social Worker Competition in IGSSS Spectra 2009 organized by School of Social Work, Marian College, Kuttikkanam on February 26 and 27, 2009.

7. 100 % pass for our M.Sc. Mathematics Students in March/April, 2008 Exam.
 
8. Our third MSW batch obtained 100 % pass with first class and Second rank. Sri. Robins Jose secured the second rank.
 
9. All our M.Sc. Computer Science students of 2007-2008 passout batch are placed in reputed computer firms like WIPRO, TCS, etc. even before announcing their final result. 6 students of 2008-2009 batch were also placed in various firms.

10. Study Centre of IGNOU ( Indira Gandhi Open University, New Delhi) started in the college campus in June 2008.Study Centre Code is 1480.
